Privacy Policy
This policy explains what limited data iGaming Awards Wiki collects, why, and the rights you have over it. Last updated 20 July 2026.
1. Who we are
iGaming Awards Wiki ("we", "us", "the site") is an independent reference directory of award ceremonies in the online gambling and betting industry, published at allgamingawards.com. For any privacy question, contact [email protected]. We are the data controller for information described below.
2. What data we collect
We run an informational site and deliberately collect as little as possible. We do not operate user accounts, do not process payments, and do not host forms that ask for personal details. The data that may be processed is limited to: standard server access logs (IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, timestamp, referrer), cookie and analytics identifiers where enabled, and the contents of any email you choose to send us.
3. Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records technical access logs automatically. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing technical faults. They are retained for a limited period and then rotated out.
4. Cookies
The core directory works without tracking cookies. If any cookies are set — for example by an analytics provider or by our content-delivery and security layer — they are used to keep the site available and to understand aggregate, non-identifying usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the directory content.
5. Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to measure aggregate traffic — which pages are viewed and how visitors reach us. Analytics data is examined in aggregate and is not used to identify individual visitors.
6. Email correspondence
When you email us a correction or a suggestion, we process your message and address solely to reply and to keep a record of directory changes. We do not add you to any mailing list and do not use your address for marketing.
7. Legal basis for processing
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional reference site (server logs, security, aggregate analytics) and on your consent where the law requires it (for example, non-essential cookies). For email, the basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.
8. Data retention
Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting. Correspondence is retained for as long as needed to document a directory change and is deleted when no longer relevant.
9. Third parties
We use third-party infrastructure providers (hosting, content delivery, and security) that process technical data strictly on our behalf. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Links in the directory point to independent official award websites, which have their own privacy policies that we do not control.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. Under the GDPR you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Under the CCPA, California residents may request disclosure or deletion and are entitled not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any right, email [email protected].
11. International transfers
Our infrastructure providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where that happens, appropriate safeguards are applied in line with applicable data-protection law.
12. Children
This site covers the gambling and betting industry and is intended for adults aged 18 or over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in practice or law. The "last updated" date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. For questions, see our contacts page.
